Now for me to tell you more about what Changing Beliefs is all about.
I am curious to know for how long you have been thinking about making changes to your life? Perhaps you are wanting to:
Simply live a happier life
Take control of your eating habits and managing your weight and waistline
Look and feel healthier
Being more fulfilled by actually choosing to do only the things you love.
Whatever area of your life you are wanting to improve, I am inviting you to start making those changes today. And I would be delighted to be given the opportunity to assist you along your journey to enjoying a happier and healthier life.
Perhaps it is as simple as they are thinking differently.
Maybe their thoughts point them in a different direction:
Focusing on leading a happier life
Consciously controlling their eating habits and weight management
Scheduling time for exercise and self care
Actually planning and choosing to do only the things they love.
What is encouraging to know is that you can choose to lead a happier and healthier life because it is not an exclusive club with an exorbitant membership fee and long waiting list.
No! It is available to everybody on the planet at anytime.
You just have to decide that you are open to changing your thinking about how you live your life. You could start by simply saying something positive to yourself everyday and begin to notice how good that feels.
When we are born and as we grow up we are influenced by various people, places and experiences. The obvious ones are our parents and family. Also remember the inspirational teacher, kind neighbour, friends and one-off encounters with complete strangers or perhaps an accident or event that changed the course of our lives forever.
A lot of our life experiences we can recall quite easily, although some memories become buried deep inside our unconscious mind and are completely forgotten.
Every experience has the ability to make an impression on our lives in either a positive or negative way, whether we remember it or not. The problem lies when we develop a pattern of behaviour that may not be benefiting our life, yet the behaviour is so familiar to us that we never question it and continue to act in that way.
Sometimes we may have misinterpreted a past experience due to being very young or simply viewing the event from our own point of view. This misinterpretation may allow us to form belief patterns that are untrue and go against the grain of who we really are and how we may behave in other areas of our lives. These negative belief patterns can keep us trapped in dysfunctional behaviours which do not benefit our lives in anyway shape or form.
Of course the same can be said for developing positive belief patterns that assist us in making good decisions in our life. For example, if you touched a hot fire when you were a toddler and you learned that it burned your fingers then you are probably never going to repeat the same action again because you know what the outcome would be. It just goes to show that both positive and negative belief patterns can be learned in an instant.
I have worked with clients who have had hurtful, damaging and untrue words said to them as a child by an unhappy, uneducated or thoughtless parent or adult. Some of their experiences have had a devastating effect on their lives. They have been lead to believe things about themselves that simply weren’t true and as a result have attracted negative people or situations into their lives that confirmed their wrong beliefs about themselves over and over again.
By changing the way you think you are changing the way you live. It really is as simple as that.
I use hypnotherapy to work with your unconscious mind to facilitate fast, effective and positive change in your life when you are open to changing your beliefs.
Are you ready to make that change?
